LICENSED PHARMACIST NEEDED
Licensed Pharmacist needed for a contract position for the Federal Bureau of Prisons.Location of Job Site: Federal Correctional Complex, Oakdale, LA. Scope of Work:
Hours: 8:00a-4:00pm Monday thru Friday (40 hrs per week)
For a 6 month contract with options for additional 12 month contract
The pharmacist will be responsible for filing all prescription orders written by the physicians. Should have a basic knowledge of medication, including adverse side effects, dosage and administration, as well as “sound a like drugs”, will ensure all prescriptions, inventories, etc., are correct. Also responsible for handling and counting medications, in accordance with acceptable pharmacy standards with appropriate processing.
Must be licensed in the State of Louisiana, and must be able to provide generalized verifiable educational and/ or experience that would qualify you To perform the above services.
Must be able to pass Federal criminal background check.
